Exciting news!
In the fall of 2018, Barrio submitted a proposal to the Oodi, Helsinki Central Library, in Finland to perform the past three years of Storytelling Through Dance productions. On April 26, we received our acceptance letter!
Our ensemble is made up of 18 community members, but we will be inviting a photographer and a videographer to document this occasion. Together they will be the 20 of 2020: 20 Barrio participants who will be traveling to perform internationally!
The Oodi Library is one of the newest libraries in Europe, and has been voted as one of Finland's most beautiful libraries. Learn more here!
